FRONT COVER
I decided to now focus on the creation of my front cover as I
know the type of cover lines I am going to include due to establishing the
content of my magazine. The front cover is the most crucial part of the
magazine as it is the first thing the audience looks at before purchasing.

I am going to focus my research on hip hop magazine front
covers. The main image needs to be eye catching however it needs to be readable
and understandable for the audience to view. I have included magazine front
covers that I like below:
As the pictures show, a range of different shot types have
been taken to show of different aspects of the cover star. I am going to use
the photography room and take images using the white background. The style I am
going to create is a light hip hop due to the fact that it looks cleaner and
professional than the dark pictures. I
am going to create a set idea which I would use for my front cover however I am
going to be creative when taking the pictures which will allow me to have a
selection of pictures which I could use.
